Winston spills the beans about Schmidt and Cece's relationship and the news finally spreads to Jess who does not take it well. Jess decides the roommates should be free with their secrets and gets more than she bargained for. Meanwhile, Nick goes to Schmidt for dating advice.	Winston wird die Last zu groß, als einziger über Schmidts Affäre mit Cece Bescheid zu wissen. Er vertraut sich Nick an, der wiederum vor Jess einknickt und ihr alles erzählt. Jess ist daraufhin wütend auf Cece, weil diese ihr über zwei Monate das Verhältnis zu Schmidt verschwiegen hat. Währenddessen versucht Nick unter großen Anstrengungen und mit Unterstützung von Schmidt, seine vielen parallel laufenden Frauengeschichten unter einen Hut zu bringen. Winston derrama de los granos sobre la relación de Schmidt y Cece y la noticia finalmente se extiende a Jess que no lo tomó bien. Jess decide que los compañeros de habitación debe estar libre con sus secretos y obtiene más de lo que esperaba. Mientras tanto, Nick va a Schmidt para un consejo de citas. Nick chiede aiuto a Schmidt per imparare a gestire le varie relazioni che sta avendo con le ragazze del college e, con sua sorpresa, scopre che i consigli dell'amico funzionano. Cece e Jess partecipano ad una maratona di beneficenza durante la quale Jess capisce perché l'amica non le aveva parlato della sua storia: a lei piace veramente Schmidt. Dopo averlo fatto ammettere a Cece, le due riescono a chiarire e, amiche come prima, tornano a casa con la promessa di non raccontare a nessuno che Cece prova qualcosa per Schmidt.
Jess apprend la liaison entre Schmidt et Cece, ce qui la met en colère contre sa meilleure amie. Cece essaie de s'expliquer mais Jess ne veut pas l'écouter. Nick essaie de nouvelles approches avec les filles mais a du mal à se séparer de chacune de ses conquêtes. Il demande donc de l'aide à Winston et Schmidt.
