Jess meets Russell's ex-wife Ouli (Jeanne Tripplehorn) and agrees to watch their daughter Sara (Annalise Basso), who develops a crush on Nick. Cece is scared that she is pregnant with Schmidt's child. Nick dates an artsy college student Chloe (Chloe Bridges), who is a lot younger than Nick thinks. Winston tries to get his boss on the set of a talk show hosted by Michael Strahan.	Jess soll für ein paar Stunden auf Russells Tochter Sara aufpassen, und bittet die Jungs sich anständig zu benehmen, was jedoch nicht klappt. Obwohl Nick sich nicht freundlich gegenüber Sara verhält, verliebt sie sich in ihn, was Nick allerdings missfällt. Währenddessen befürchtet Cece, von Schmidt schwanger zu sein. Schmidt hingegen freut sich über Ceces vermeintliche Schwangerschaft und verspricht ihr, immer für sie da zu sein. Winston soll seinen Chef Joe derweil zu einer Talkshow fahren, was sich jedoch als schwieriger als gedacht herausstellt, da Joe eigentlich gar nicht in die Talkshow will. Jess conoce a la ex esposa de Russell, Ouli (Jeanne Tripplehorn) y se compromete a cuidar a la hija de ellos, que se enamora de Nick. Cece tiene miedo de que ella está embarazada de Schmidt. Nick sale con una estudiante universitaria Chloe (Chloe Bridges), que es mucho más joven de lo que Nick piensa. Winston intenta que su jefe en el plató de un programa de entrevistas presentado por Michael Strahan.	Cece ha un ritardo e confessa a Jess di aver paura di essere incinta, pregandola di mantenere il segreto con Schmidt che, però, lo scopre. Il ragazzo sembra molto felice della notizia, nonostante Cece non sembra molto entusiasta. Jess passa la giornata con la figlia di Russell che, appena vede Nick, si innamora dell'uomo. Nick intanto, esce con Cloe, una ragazza che sembra piacergli molto fino a quando scopre la sua età: la ragazza ha infatti diciotto anni. La giornata, tra alti e bassi, si conclude e Nick riesce a convincere la figlia di Russell di non essere innamorata di lui. Cece scopre di non essere incinta e, con dispiacere di entrambi, se ne va lasciando Schmidt triste e solo. Winston accompagna il suo capo ad un incontro televisivo.
