Jess and Schmidt try fitting in with younger people who have moved in across the hall from them. Nick works extra hard to pull a prank on Schmidt.	Jess verbringt ihre Tage aufgrund ihrer Arbeitslosigkeit auf der Couch und schaut sich 1980er-Jahre-Sitcoms an, bis in der gegenüberliegenden Wohnung neue Nachbarn einziehen. Die neuen Nachbarn Chaz, Fife, Sutton und Brorie schließen Jess sofort in ihr Herz, doch die anderen WG-Mitglieder finden sie eher langweilig und doof, was durch Schmidts Versuche, auch jung und hip zu sein, nur noch verstärkt wird. Gastdarsteller:  Charlie Saxton (Chaz), Morgan Krantz (Fife), Jinny Chung (Sutton), Jasmine Di Angelo (Brorie), Stone Eisenmann (Nick bambino), Jordan Fuller (Winston bambino).
Jess y Schmidt tratan de encajar con las personas más jóvenes que se han mudado en el otro lado del pasillo de ellos. Nick trabaja muy duro para hacerle una broma a Schmidt.	Arrivano dei nuovi vicini di pianerottolo, 4 ragazzi più giovani, che prendono subito in simpatia Jess, ma non Schmidt. Schmidt, tormentato dagli scherzi di Nick, si convince di essere vecchio; vorrebbe essere accettato dai nuovi ragazzi. Jess alla fine capisce che non può continuare a frequentare quei ragazzi molto più giovani di lei e Schmidt scopre che in realtà non piace ai nuovi ragazzi non perché è vecchio, ma per il suo modo di essere. Winston ottiene la conduzione di un programma radiofonico mattutino.
De nouveaux voisins s'installent près de Jess, Nick, Schmidt et Winston. Schmidt et Jess se mettent à traîner avec eux mais bien qu'ils adorent cette dernière, ils ne supportent pas Schmidt, ce dernier est persuadé que c'est parce qu'il est plus vieux qu'eux. De son côté, Nick passe son temps à faire des farces à Schmidt. Quant à Winston, après avoir appris que selon certaines statistiques il ne vivrait pas vieux, il décide de prendre sa vie professionnelle en main.
